Eh, 3DS's miiverse doesn't/ won't even have the ability to PM and add friends at all, so even the people who /were/ going to use it for that can't. It's like Nintendo is really trying to make me swear off ever buying another handheld.

Yeah, nintendo need to plan this more carefully. It would probably put me off if I used that kind stuff a lot. I still think it's disgraceful to moderate PMs and I always though the miiverse was pretty useless.

Ah well. At least it saves me money in the future, no?

Maybe. The exclusive games are the only problem.

happy belated!

Thanks! I'm sure you said the same thing last year so thanks for the double!

Eh. Pokémon gives me pause. I like Gamefreak and Pokémon. If/when it comes time to choose between leaving Nintendo and staying with Gamefreak I'll be very conflicted, I already am.

Yeah that's a big problem. A while ago I had a think about if they released star wars battlefront 3 under EA and was conflicted about keeping true to my boycott or playing the games I've been waiting for since my childhood. For you it must be bigger seeing as you haven't actually started boycotting them yet.

happy (late) birthday, man!

whats up?

Thanks! Haven't seen you in a while. I'm alright.

Mm, I wouldn't be very surprised if my desire to play subsequent Pokémon games won out over my desire to not support Nintendo. I have a whole circle of friends who know each other and interact primarily through playing Pokémon together.

I've always valued community over everything and I tend to regret not doing so. Either choice is respectful in my opinion.

S'pose we'll see what happens eventually.

True. We never really know what's going to happen until it happens.

So they launched the whole miiverse thing.

Yeah, I heard about that. I don't know too much about it though.

Neither do I, anything new with you?

Not really. I've kind of been lazy for the last few weeks. I've told myself to study more and take a break from making my chainmail shirt until I'm no longer failing physics. Unfortunatley I spend most of that time I've made playing games.

You should study more.

How's that coming anyway? Haven't really heard much about it since you mentioned an interest in it.

It's roughly 1.5m long and it's about as wide as a hand. I didn't believe them when the said it would take this long but it's been going since about the start of august.

How do you make it anyway?

buy metal wire, wrap it around a long metal tube, but the coil into rings then weave the rings into chainmail. It would help if I had the equipment but all I have is wire, tubes and pliers.

Oh, neat.

Are you good with math by the way? I need to relearn some to take a really important test, but having been out of high school for so long I've since forgotten a fair bit of it.

It depends what level of maths. I got the top grade possible 2 years ago but I've been taking the current level over 2 years. It's hard to compare the systems though.

Well looking up example SAT questions would give you a good idea. I know a pretty large amount of it, but there's some I've forgotten, and I'd like to do better than 'okay'.

It's seems to be the roughly the same as standard grade which I was good at. It's just asked in a very confusing way. So yeah I'm good at it.

If you could help teach me how to do the problems I don't remember that'd be super helpful of you. I don't want to impose or anything though.

I'm alright with helping. Anything specific you don't remember?

Yeah. By the way, got myself a computer. It'd probably be easiest to talk about this on it so we don't contact each other every few days. D'you have Steam? I could add you there. Anyway, thank you.

Nice! I do have steam but I don't really know much about it. I didn't know you could add people on it either. I just use it to play games.

Yeah. At the bottom right of the main page of Steam, assuming you have it downloaded, there's a thing that says view friends. It has a friends list with people who have added you and what not in it. You can Click on that to approve pending friend requests and what not as well as chat with other friends. If you give me whatever name you have on Steam I can find you and add you.

I use the name aListers on steam (I'm surprised I managed to get that before anybody else did) and I've found the bit you're talking about. Be warned that I'm not the only person who uses the account though. It's a family computer.
