Don't like my person's hair color, so.
I don't think my characters have ever had a hair colour that's not brown.
AC kind of doesn't let you pick at first.
Yeah, Animal crossing doesn't really let you do any character customisation at first - unless you include the question answering at the start but it doesn't even show you what your character looks like.
Since eye shape is all you can't change later I used the guide for that.
I prefer to just randomize it and hope for the best.
But some are so ugly.
True but I don't really have a preference over which eye type my character has.
Some look like creepy dolls.
True but I usually get my character covered in bee stings not long after I start playing.

bees are worth a lot of money. Plus I need one for the museum.
Not worth much in New Leaf, can get 300k/hr easy.

Grinding beetles on the island, not even the best way to make bells. However, you spend them really fast too.
wow. Money must have upped in supply and demand a lot.
House costs something like 398k-598k per upgrade, can upgrade once a day. Public work projects cost 40k-1m to build, once you have your house and town how you like it there's very few money sinks though, unless you suddenly decide to redesign or make a villager.
seems roughly the same as the other animal crossing games except the public works. Still, I get many times where I'm really short on money.
There's no reason you'd be short in New Leaf unless you're lazy.
