Basically I met an omnipotent sociopath and he made a game of torturing people to death. It was really creepy looking back on what happened, and played out like a nightmare, only during the dream itself I wasn't scared (retelling it to a friend scared me though).

Yeah. You feel different things when dreaming. I once had a dream that my maths teacher got assasinated and, instead of being shocked and scared, we were all extremely disappointed. Like having the fire bell ring in the middle of a good lesson.

One was basically me as Buffy. T'other was me and another girl using magic to fight monsters.
Nice dreams. I've always liked dreams where I have to fight monsters. Unfortunatley Most of my moster dreams are more of a battle of the brains than a magic spell fight.
I have magic in most of my dreams.
Cool. My dreams tend to take part in worlds where magic exists but I can't use it. While darth vader could use the force, I had to stab a guy with a pencil. Most magic in my dreams seem to be scientifically explainable though.
Sometimes I have magic and can't use it/ can't use it when I need to.
That kind of happens to me in lucid dreams. I notice that I'm dreaming and try to take control of my dreams but I just can't.
My dreams like that are more of a "shit please work before I end up dead it was working fibe a minute ago" thing.
At the most I just run out of ammo. I've never had magic problems because I'm never the person using it. I always rely on sombody else. Whenever I do use magic it tends to be scientifically explainable though.
I haven't had much, uh, perfofmance anxiety issues with my magic in a few years. Mostly now I'm competent at fighting bad guys.
I kind of had a magic performance anxiety issue in my dream last night though the dream was kind of like a really bad movie so I'd rather not say it.

Basically the power to create miracles. I used it to do thiings like escape the basement and stop a boulder from running us over Indiana Jones style.
