What kinda sushi? What'd it taste like?

I had loads of different types. It was one of those restraunts where you take whatever you want off the conveyor belt.

What'd they taste like?

Mostly like salmon. The biggest thing about the sushi was it's texture though. The fish was almost creamy while still tasting like fish. Plus the sauce on the beef was delicous. I put as much wasabi as I could on most things too. The rice kept breaking up though.

Hm, I've never tried sushi.

You should one day. They're one of my favorite types resturaunts to go to. Everything is delicous and if at all possible you should get the cone things.

I will some day. I had yummy Puerto Rican food Saturday. 'Twas very good.

Cone things?

I've never had puerto rican food.

The cone things are called temaki according to the internet. I had temaki with crab inside it in hong kong and it was one of the best foods I've ever tasted. Close to pie and my primary schools chicken curry.

Oh. I had a dream where I bought jeans and ate sushi.

wow. That's some dream. How was the dream sushi?

Yummy. Like fish but melt in your mouth and cream cheesy.

That's exactly like the sushi that I liked most at the resturaunt.

So it's real? Lol.

Probably. You should try it one day and see. Not all sushi is like that. I think it was because they place I went to used cheap fish(fish is expensive over here) but you should compare it.

I'm burnt out on pokémon.

I knew you would be! I was wondering why you hadn't been on newgrounds for 2 days and then remembered you got pokemon. I'd do the same thing too though.

I played it for four days nonstop. I played sparingly today.

It's always like that when you get a new game. Back when I was on newgrounds for 6 hours a day I would always end up taking a day off at christmas because of new games.

Pokémon is awesome though, so much replayability in BW2.

Cool. I was thinking of getting it when I saw the advert for it but then I realised I don't have a 3ds.

It's for DS you dummy. Go get it.

k. cool. Didn't think they'd keep releasing DS games. I'll see if I can get it then.

Yay!

BTW I saw version 2 in the shops for £29.99 while the version 1 was selling for £32.99. Do you need version 1 to play version 2?

Yes and no. You don't need it to play/ understand the game but you'll be missing out on a lot of character development and a few small events that deepen the story. You also won't care as much about characters you're supposed to.

Would you suggest I get version 1 first before thinking about getting version 2? I'll probably get it cheaper pre-owned.

I'm biased, I really enjoyed BW a lot, and I have a pretty big crush on one of the characters that doesn't appear as much in BW2. So I'd say yes, but the general consensus on /vp/ seems to be no.

I guess it comes down to how much getting the full experience from the plot means to you versus how much you want to play a larger and more diverse region with a few gameplay improvements.

ah. plot vs gameplay. That's a hard decision. I'm leaning on gameplay but it comes at the price of cost. I'll have to have a good think and do some research.

Here:

Music
BW < BW2, plus BW2 kept the two songs BW did great on.
Plot
BW > BW2, it all fits better in BW.
Characterization
BW > BW2, though BW2 has a few characters who are hilariously bad so it balances out and you end up laughing a lot.
Pacing
BW > BW2, BW2's story doesn't really become a focus until you get near the end, the few parts where it's involved are choppy and disjointed, BW has what's considered to be the deepest (albeit very predictable) story in a Pokémon game to dat, and the story is throughout the game, with memory link (requires two games, one for BW and one for BW2) you get more depth in BW2 though.
Gameplay
BW < BW2, they made some good improvements.
Sense of exploration
BW < BW2, they added a lot more towns and areas to explore.
Less handholding
BW < BW2, the "tutorial" part in BW feels like it lasts the whole game, BW2 has a problem with some scene specific handholding (really this whole series does), but overall it's much less.
Post-game
BW < BW2, this is night and day.

I'll probably get the first version. I'm not sure I'll feel the effects of the gameplay as soon as I start playing. I like to maximise my enjoyment of a game and I think if I ever play version 2 then I'd be better off understanding the whole story as it's meant to be understood.

Works for me.

k. I'm still kind of on the fence but it's version 1 for me right now.

What are you on the fence about?

Which game to get.

Specifically though.

what?

Oh nevermind. How're you?

I'm ok. I've been overloaded with homework but then again I have nabs. I need to remember when I have to play the drums.

What?

Not too ok anymore. I'm slowly going insane it seems. Hopefully I can calm down soon.
